** SOLD OUT - Please contact us if you want to be on the waiting list ** We’re delighted to be hosting a fringe event for Eat Cambridge this year! Join ROMANO’S PAELLA MASTERCLASS on Thursday, 24 May (6:30pm) at the newly refurbished Black Horse in Dry Drayton, only 6 miles from Cambridge. Learn how to make this typical Spanish dish in a fun group, led by expert cook and fantastic teacher Paola Davies-Romano. The Valencian paella is a recipe handed down to Paola from her mother, who hailed from Spain. In this informal and interactive class, participants all help out in the cooking of one big Valencian paella then enjoy eating their culinary creation.
Spanish wines, beers and some special Spanish desserts by the lovely Amanda of The Black Horse may be purchased separately on the night.
The ticket price includes all paella ingredients, mixed salad and bread, as well as the recipe.
The paella features chicken and seafood. Due to the nature of this event, it won’t be possible to cater for specific diets other than vegetarian. A vegetarian paella is available on request.
